The Impact You Will HaveReporting to the Head of Financial Lines Pricing, you will join the team as Pricing Lead - Financial Lines North America and will be a key member of the Global Pricing department developing, implementing and overseeing Financial Lines pricing support. You will mentor and provide guidance to other team members including junior staff. You will also engage in discussions with senior management and the Board of Management and maintain relationships with other Allianz Commercial departments, as well as to Group functions.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
  • Developing and maintaining pricing and portfolio information related reporting processes, as well as redesigning and implementing these pricing support processes, including defining data quality and cleaning standards as well as ensuring proper execution of Financial Lines pricing in Radar.
  • Developing and implementing regional portfolio steering analyses as well as enhancing technical approaches.
  • Performing strategic portfolio analyses for Allianz Commercial, for the Allianz Commercial BoM and providing input to the Allianz Commercial planning process as assigned.
  • Peer review work from other team members, including mentoring and providing guidance to junior team members.
  • Promoting close collaboration and interaction with the various business areas to foster mutual understanding of business developments, underwriting strategy and other trends impact portfolio management KPIs.
  • Contributing Portfolio Steering reporting to cross-CxO portfolio steering discussions and exchanges (e.g., smart circles) for all Financial Lines products/segments to identify areas of action (grow, maintain, fix, shrink, etc.) for the Allianz Commercial Financial Lines portfolio.
  • Keeping abreast of leading market practices and driving innovation.


What You'll Bring to the Role
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with a large, global insurer, preferably spanning multiple types and lines of business;
  • Significant knowledge of portfolio management and Actuarial approaches and concepts, including a deep understanding of the Allianz Commercial product portfolio and macroeconomic trends;
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing management information reporting processes and analyses based on database solutions;
  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills including JavaScript, CSS, Python, VBA and SQL, as well as database management skills including database design and technical development;
  • Ability to analyze highly complex data, from multiple sources, in detail;
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues before they transpire;
  • Ability to develop, implement and communicate strategies to address important trends or changes in the business
  • Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally;
  • The ability to build and foster relationships with people at varying levels of the organization; and
  • Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance and/or Actuarial background.
The annualized base pay range for this role is $134,400 - $264,352. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
