HIGHLIGHTS

Lead complex Medicaid reserving and valuation analyses for Blue Cross NC
Interpret run-rate analysis and explain financial reporting treatments to leadership
Support pricing, rating model development, medical trend and rate filings
Partner with FP&A, underwriting, network management and a partner plan
Principal-level role in the Valuation/Reserving function (based in NC)

KEY REQUIREMENTS

ASA designation and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)
Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree
5+ years of related actuarial experience
Strong experience in reserving, valuation, and financial reporting
Ability to lead complex actuarial modeling and consult on projects
