Senior P&C consulting actuary role based in Farmington, CT (remote options). You will lead predictive modeling strategy, run client engagements on segmentation, trend and pricing/reserving analyses, and help expand MCA's actuarial practice. Reports to the Chief Actuary and works across actuarial and product management.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead predictive modeling strategy and client engagements for P&C insurers
- Perform segmentation, multivariate trend analysis, pricing and reserve reviews
- Build internal actuarial capabilities and product insights
- Work with SQL, R, Python, Power BI or Tableau on data intake and modeling
- Hybrid CT office role with fully remote arrangements welcomed; travel ~5–10%
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C actuarial or analytical experience
- Predictive modeling in personal and commercial lines
- Pricing studies and reserve reviews
- Client-facing consulting engagements
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years in actuarial or analytical P&C insurance roles
- FCAS or ACAS required
- Proven predictive modeling experience in personal and commercial lines
- Strong technical background with SQL, R, Python, Power BI, or Tableau
- Experience leading client engagements and presenting to clients
