HIGHLIGHTS

Reinsurance account executive focused on crop and agricultural treaty business in Columbia, MO. You will underwrite assumed treaty reinsurance, produce pricing indications, interpret contracts, and integrate crop and catastrophe model outputs. The role requires strong technical crop/reinsurance knowledge and certifications (CPCU and ARe or MBA). This is an individual contributor role responsible for growing and managing domestic and international crop reinsurance relationships.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Underwrite assumed treaty reinsurance for crop and related agricultural lines
  • Develop pricing indications and integrate crop model and catastrophe outputs
  • Drive business development to expand crop reinsurance portfolio domestically and internationally
  • Manage end-to-end treaty underwriting, contract interpretation, and recommendations
  • CPCU and ARe certification or MBA required

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Prior experience in crop insurance and reinsurance underwriting
  • Experience with multi-peril and crop hail programs
  • Direct experience using crop modeling software
  • Familiarity with quota share and stop loss treaty structures
  • Knowledge of catastrophe modeling platforms

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience in crop insurance and reinsurance underwriting
  • Completion of CPCU and ARe certification or MBA (required)
  • Direct experience using crop modeling software
  • Familiarity with quota share and stop loss treaty structures
  • Knowledge of catastrophe modeling platforms
