You will develop pricing and underwriting models, build analytics and dashboards, and support capital-motivated transactions and Value-Based Care risk arrangements. Client-facing advisory work with opportunities to engage insurers, MGUs, startups and investors.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Structure and price health reinsurance placements across Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and stop-loss
- Develop and enhance AHL pricing and underwriting actuarial models
- Work with claims-level data and support ETL/data warehousing
- Build client-ready analytics, dashboards, and predictive models
- Client-facing advisory work with opportunities for direct engagement
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial work in healthcare/benefits/health insurance
- Knowledge of health reinsurance and stop-loss products
- Experience with claims-level data analysis
- Pricing and/or underwriting experience for health products
- Familiarity with Value-Based Care and alternative payment models
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of actuarial experience in healthcare/benefits/health insurance
- Hands-on experience working with claims-level data
- Proven ability to prepare and present client-ready analyses
