JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Price and structure health reinsurance treaties including stop-loss and provider excess
- Develop and enhance pricing and underwriting models for AHL clients
- Work hands-on with claims-level data and ETL to build predictive models and dashboards
- Client-facing role with presentations and advisory work for insurers, MGUs, and investors
- Senior role requiring 7+ years of healthcare/benefits actuarial experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial work in healthcare, benefits, or health insurance
- Hands-on work with claims-level data
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of actuarial experience in healthcare/benefits or health insurance
- Hands-on experience working with claims-level data and data refinement
- Pricing and underwriting analytics experience for health products
- Proficiency with SQL and statistical tools (R or Python) for large datasets
