Reasonable proximity (1-hour commute and a 50-Mile radius) to either one of the Elevance Health offices listed above is required.

This position will work full-time (5 days per week) in the office onsite. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection.

The Reporting Analyst - ASO Client Support / Actuarial Business Analyst is responsible for assisting in the determination of rates. Analyzes, develops and validates statistical data.

How you will make an impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Under limited supervision, applies the appropriate actuarial analytical tools to the data and performs preliminary actuarial and statistical analysis.
  • Updates actuarial pricing, valuation and forecasting models as directed.
  • Refines and collects appropriate data for actuarial analysis and ensures its reasonableness and accuracy by coordination within the division
  • Collaborates with underwriting, sales, and other key stakeholders to develop and support business needs.
  • Assist with explaining Elevance Health's value proposition including provider network contracts, clinical models, and integration benefits.


Minimum Requirements:
  • Requires a BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in an actuarial environment performing financial reporting, rate development, and trend projections; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.


Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
  • Experience and proficiency working with MS Excel and PowerPoint highly preferred.
  • Experience creating and analyzing reports preferred.
  • SQL knowledge preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and able to meet deadlines strongly preferred.
