Strategic reserving and reporting cycle

Closer to a reserving cycle role than a pricing-underwriting partnership because the anchor is reserve position and balance-sheet strength, not live deal pricing.

Senior P&C reserving role with Munich Re’s Corporate Reserving team supporting the Global Specialty Insurance US business in Princeton, New Jersey. You’ll perform and oversee loss reserve analyses, interpret IFRS 17 results, improve reserving processes and translate actuarial findings into business insights for a reinsurance organization.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial science or similar quantitative field
  • Credentialed Actuary (CAS or comparable)
  • Experience in non-life (re)insurance
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with practical application
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management, process optimization and change management skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with insurance-related databases and data warehouses
  • Master's or MBA degree
