P&C risk analyst role at a Los Angeles-based property & casualty carrier. You will estimate losses, support pricing and rating plan recommendations, and assist in assessing reserve adequacy. This analyst-level position reports to the VP of Risk and is on-site in Los Angeles.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Estimate losses and project lifetime loss using actuarial methods
- Support pricing, rating plan development and review pricing algorithms
- Assist in quantifying reserve adequacy with internal and external actuaries
- Generate charts and present analyses to management and business partners
- On-site role in Los Angeles reporting to the VP of Risk
