Director-level P&C capital modelling role focused on Bermuda regulatory capital (BSCR) for group and US entities. You will review and enhance BSCR calculations, run stress tests and capital impact assessments, and work with Risk, Actuarial, Finance and Investments. Position is open to multiple locations including New York and Bermuda.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead reviews and enhancements of BSCR regulatory capital calculations
- Design controls, documentation and model governance for capital tools
- Perform capital impact assessments, stress tests and scenario analysis
- Collaborate with Risk, Actuarial, Finance and Investments teams
- Director role requiring 10+ years P&C (re)insurance experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C (re)insurance actuarial experience
- Bermuda regulatory capital (BSCR) modelling
- ORSA and enterprise risk management frameworks
- Experience interacting with regulators, auditors or rating agencies
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of actuarial experience in P&C (re)insurance
- 5+ years hands-on Bermuda BSCR regulatory capital experience
- Near-qualified or qualified actuary preferred (e.g., ACAS/FCAS/ASA)
- Experience with ORSA/ERM frameworks and regulatory interactions
- Proficiency maintaining Excel and actuarial model tooling
