Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy role because planned rotations and broad business exposure outweigh depth in one actuarial specialty.

Entry-level Health actuarial apprenticeship in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with an onsite work pattern. You’ll rotate through actuarial, underwriting, finance, and audit/ERM while supporting pricing, reserving, forecasting, regulatory reporting, and related analyses. Progress toward SOA credentials is preferred, but no designation is required.

Must have

Excellent mathematical background with strong knowledge of statistical principles
Ability to analyze data using spreadsheets, databases and other software tools
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
Goal oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
No visa sponsorship available
Wyoming residency or intent to become a resident (or reasonable commuter distance if Colorado resident)
Successful completion of comprehensive background check

Strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related quantitative field
Progress toward actuarial credentials (e.g., completion of SOA exams)
