Senior Health actuarial consulting role in Chicago, supporting employer group health clients. You’ll analyze claims and utilization data, contribute to pricing, reserving, plan design modeling and financial reporting, and participate in client meetings and carrier RFP work. The role is hybrid and suited to an ASA, FSA or near-ASA with at least four years of group health experience.

Must have
Bachelor's degree required
Actuarial accreditation (ASA, FSA, or near-ASA credentials)
Must have ability to compile, analyze, present, and interpret financial and statistical information
Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines
Must be results-oriented with ability to change priorities as needed
Strongly preferred
4+ years of group health benefits experience at a brokerage/consulting firm or insurance carrier
Knowledge of all aspects of the healthcare marketplace: plan design, pricing, reserving, benchmarking, financial management
Personal presence to interface in client and prospect organizations
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Products (particularly Excel)
Ability to travel as needed
Nice to have
Preferred major in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
