Senior P&C actuarial role in Lehi, Utah, supporting personal and commercial property pricing and rate filings. You’ll validate AI-derived rating variables, prepare filing exhibits, respond to regulator objections, and advise carrier customers. The role combines predictive modelling, regulatory analysis, and customer-facing communication, with 5+ years of experience expected and ACAS or FCAS strongly preferred.
Requirements
Must have
Experience preparing actuarial exhibits for rate filings and responding to regulator objections
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or related field
Strongly preferred
5+ years of property and casualty actuarial experience
ACAS or FCAS credentialing
Comfortable with predictive model output including GLMs, gradient boosting, and validation statistics
Experience with large claims and exposure data using SQL, R, or Python
Client-facing and steady on calls with carrier actuarial leadership
Nice to have
Experience at an actuarial consultancy or directly at a carrier supporting rate filings across multiple states and carriers
Experience with catastrophe or property peril models, or imagery/AI-derived rating variables
Prior regulator-side ratemaking review experience
Familiarity with SERFF and practical filing mechanics
