RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop captive insurance programs and actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting.
- Create premium rates, claim projections, and financial forecasts for various employee benefit programs.
- Prepare actuarial reports, documentation, and client-facing presentations.
- Maintain and improve technical capabilities and automate existing actuarial processes.
- Collaborate on team projects, new business proposals, and client deliverables.
- Support special projects and contribute to firm-wide initiatives as needed.
- Attend at least one annual in-person meeting in Boston with Spring staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Solid understanding of employee benefits including medical, Rx, stop-loss, life, and disability programs.
- Progress toward actuarial credentials (SoA/CAS), with at least two exams passed in the last two years.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for modeling and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective at multitasking, meeting deadlines, and conducting technical research.
- 3+ years of relevant actuarial experience and Substantial Progress toward an Actuarial credential

Salary range is $90K to 120K per year.
