You will lead and review funding and accounting valuations, prepare benefit calculations and reports, support experience studies and projections, and interact with clients. Hybrid role with office presence expected three days per week.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead and review actuarial funding and accounting valuations for pension plans
- Work with ProVal, Excel, and valuation software to produce ValSets and reports
- Support experience studies, projections, and special retirement projects
- Client-facing role with participation in client meetings and presentations
- Hybrid position—be physically in the office three days per week
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Multiemployer pension plan experience
- Funding and accounting valuations for pension plans
- Experience with ProVal ValSets and actuarial valuation software
- Experience studies and pension projections
- Client-facing actuarial services and benefit calculations
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years supporting actuarial services
- Experience in the multiemployer pension space is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Finance, or related field
- Experience with actuarial valuation software and advanced Excel/Access
- Able to be in the Towson office three days per week (hybrid)
