Senior health actuarial analyst supporting valuation and risk adjustment for ACA exchange products. You will own risk adjustment models, forecasting, and trend analysis, working remotely from Atlanta and reporting to the Director, Actuarial. Strong emphasis on model management, infrastructure improvements, and financial planning for accruals.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own maintenance and enhancement of risk adjustment valuation models
- Develop risk adjustment accrual estimates and forecasting analyses
- Drive modeling infrastructure, automation, and documentation standards
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on financial strategy
- Fully remote role (Atlanta, GA) reporting to the Director, Actuarial
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Risk adjustment for ACA markets
- Valuation and accrual setting for risk adjustment
- Health insurance actuarial concepts and trend analysis
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required
- Associate or Fellow of the SOA, or on track to become one
- 3+ years of relevant actuarial or related experience
- Experience with risk adjustment and ACA market concepts
