HIGHLIGHTS

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Calculate US Statutory, Tax, and US GAAP reserves for life and annuity products
Perform sensitivity and assumption impact testing and asset adequacy analysis
Maintain and improve SOX controls and support audit/regulatory requests
Work cross-functionally to onboard deals to valuation and modeling platforms
Senior actuarial analyst role based in Brighton, MA (4 days in office)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Maintaining and enhancing control mechanisms (SOX)
Business analytics and advanced Microsoft Excel
Product knowledge of Life or Annuity with US Stat and GAAP valuation
Data management and processing using SAS, SQL, or Python
Conducting impact assessments for assumption and model changes

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree required
3+ years as an actuarial analyst or related role
Completed 5 SOA exams toward ASA
2+ years product knowledge of Life or Annuity including US Stat and GAAP valuation
Data skills with SAS, SQL, or Python and strong Excel experience
