Senior P&C actuarial pricing role supporting personal and commercial property, auto and casualty lines. You will develop rating systems, build forecasting and predictive models, support rate filings and reinsurance data needs. Senior-level, based in Canada (Edmonton/Calgary/Vancouver) in a hybrid arrangement, reporting to the Actuarial Director.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Price personal and commercial P&C lines (property, auto, casualty)
- Develop rating systems and prepare models for rate filings
- Build forecasting and predictive analytics using R and SQL
- Hybrid role based in Edmonton/Calgary/Vancouver; remote considered
- Senior analyst with 4+ years P&C experience and 2+ CAS exams
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Property and casualty actuarial experience
- Commercial property pricing
- Rate filing preparation and support
- Reinsurance program data compilation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or related quantitative field
- 2+ CAS exams passed (minimum)
- 4+ years of property and casualty actuarial experience
- Demonstrated commercial property pricing experience
- Advanced Excel, SQL and R skills
