- Support reserving and quarterly reserve forecasts for MGA programs
- Develop loss ratio projections and evaluate pricing strategies

- Present actuarial findings to underwriters, finance, and executive leadership
- Mentor junior actuaries and represent the department cross-functionally
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Commercial insurer actuarial experience
- Delegated authority programs/MGA experience (preferred)
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required in mathematics, statistics, or similar
- US work authorization required; Markel does not sponsor visas
