JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Build and refresh predictive pricing models across Selective's P&C lines
Adjust and reconcile raw policy data: loss development, trend, on-leveling
Perform variable selection and model diagnostics including lift curves
Work with IT to create model variables and develop automated scoring engines
Hybrid role supporting Actuarial Advanced Analytics (NJ, Charlotte NC, Hartford CT)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Property/Casualty actuarial work
Predictive model development for pricing
Data reconciliation and premium on-leveling
Model deployment and validation

KEY REQUIREMENTS

4+ years of Property/Casualty actuarial work experience
Bachelor's degree required; Math/Actuarial/Statistics/Economics preferred
Solid actuarial and analytical skills with experience in predictive models
Ability to train and develop junior actuarial staff
