Senior life actuarial analyst role based in Austin, TX supporting product development, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. You will assist with actuarial modeling, experience studies, reserves and non-forfeiture valuation work under GAAP and SAP. The role expects exam progression toward ASA and strong spreadsheet and actuarial modeling skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support life product development, modeling, and assumption updates
- Assist with GAAP and statutory reserving and non-forfeiture valuations
- Work with spreadsheet tools and actuarial models; GGY AXIS experience a plus
- Onsite role at Austin, TX corporate headquarters (Mon–Fri, 8AM–5PM)
- Minimum of 2 years actuarial experience and 3 actuarial exams (ASA path)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Life insurance actuarial experience
- Actuarial modeling and quantitative analysis
- Experience with GGY AXIS (preferred)
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree (Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or related)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant actuarial experience
- Minimum of 3 actuarial exams on the path toward ASA (may have Associateship)
- Background in modeling, programming, or quantitative analysis
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM with occasional longer hours
