Senior P&C pricing role focused on cyber, Tech E&O and MPL at an insurtech in Atlanta. You will own rate indications, improve pricing accuracy, automate pricing processes, and partner with underwriting, product, claims and decision-engine teams. Reports to the Actuarial Director and expects a hands-on analyst with strong SQL/Python/Excel skills and actuarial exam progress.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Price Cyber, Tech E&O and Miscellaneous Professional Liability portfolios
- Develop quarterly rate indications and propose rate plan changes
- Automate and improve pricing workflows using SQL and Python/R
- Partner closely with underwriting, product, claims and decision engine
- Report to the Actuarial Director; senior individual contributor role
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Cyber insurance pricing
- Tech E&O and MPL product experience
- Portfolio profitability analysis using actuarial techniques
- Experience with SQL and Excel for analytics
- Cross-functional collaboration with underwriting and product
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Passed 4+ actuarial exams (in pursuit of ACAS/FCAS or equivalent)
- Proficiency with Excel and SQL; experience with Python or R
- Experience evaluating portfolio profitability using actuarial techniques
- Experience working cross-functionally with underwriting and product
- Senior-level pricing/analytics experience in insurance (cyber preferred)
