JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Price Cyber and Tech E&O specialty products to drive profitable growth
- Perform quarterly rate indications and present recommendations to stakeholders
- Automate pricing processes and improve pricing accuracy using SQL and Python/R
- Work cross-functionally with underwriting, product, claims and decision engine
- Senior individual contributor reporting to the Actuarial Director
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Cyber pricing and product experience
- Tech E&O product knowledge
- Portfolio profitability evaluation using actuarial techniques
- Cross-functional work with underwriting, product, claims, or data science
- Proficiency with Excel and SQL; experience with Python or R
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Passed 4+ actuarial exams (in pursuit of ACAS/FCAS or equivalent)
- Proficiency with Excel and SQL
- Experience with Python and/or R
- Experience evaluating portfolio profitability using actuarial techniques
- Cross-functional collaboration with underwriting, product, claims, or data science
