Remote position based in the United States reporting to the Actuarial Director.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Senior pricing role focused on Cyber and Tech E&O products
- Own quarterly rate indications and quantify pricing impacts
- Automate pricing processes using SQL and Python or R
- Partner closely with underwriting, product, claims and decision engine
- Remote role; reports to the Actuarial Director
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Portfolio profitability evaluation using actuarial techniques
- Cross-functional work with underwriting, product, claims or data teams
- Automation and tooling to improve pricing process efficiency
- Performed quarterly rate indications and presented recommendations
- Analysis of competitor rating plans to inform pricing strategy
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Passed 4+ actuarial exams (in pursuit of ACAS/FCAS or equivalent)
- Proficiency with Excel and SQL
- Experience with Python or R for analytics and automation
- Experience evaluating portfolio profitability and rate indications
- Cross-functional collaboration with underwriting/product/claims
