JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Senior actuarial analyst focused on forecasting, reserving, and trend analytics
- Develop and maintain non-standard actuarial models and analytical frameworks
- Perform complex data extraction and automation using SQL, SAS, VBA, and Excel
- Remote role (U.S.), with Minneapolis/DC hires required to be in-office 4 days/week
- Mentor junior analysts and communicate findings to managers and directors
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial or relevant analytical experience
- Building and automating data extraction and reporting workflows
- Forecasting, reserving, and trend analytics
- Advanced Excel modelling
- Intermediate SQL or VBA development
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or related
- 2+ years of actuarial or relevant analytical experience
- Progress toward actuarial credentials (typically 2+ exams passed; 3+ preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and intermediate SQL and/or VBA
- Ability to build and automate data extraction and reporting workflows
