JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Develop and execute quarterly medical expense forecasting across UHC lines
- Analyze large healthcare claims datasets to identify cost drivers and trends
- Build and maintain actuarial forecasting models and standard trend methods
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and analytics teams and present to leaders
- Remote role (U.S.) with local Minneapolis/DC in-office requirement for local hires
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial forecasting and trend analysis
- Analyzing large healthcare claims datasets
- Familiarity with standard actuarial trend methods
- Proficiency with Excel including VBA and automation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of actuarial experience
- On ASA credential track with 2+ actuarial exams passed
- 2+ years analyzing large claims datasets
- Proficiency in SAS and SQL
- Advanced Excel skills including VBA
