Senior P&C reserving and capital role at a specialty E&S carrier. You will own reserving analyses, support capital modeling and ORSA input, and deliver data-driven insights across underwriting, claims and finance. Remote role based out of Hartford, CT, reporting to the VP, Actuarial.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Perform quarterly and annual reserving analyses for multiple P&C lines
- Support development and maintenance of capital models and ORSA inputs
- Build and maintain actuarial models and code in Python/R with GitHub
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims and finance to translate results
- Remote senior analyst role; reports to the VP, Actuarial

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 2–4 years actuarial experience, preferably in P&C reserving or capital
- Passed actuarial exams P, FM, MAS-I and MAS-II
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required
- Proficiency in Python and/or R, plus SQL and version control (GitHub)
- Strong Excel skills including automation
