HIGHLIGHTS

Senior P&C actuarial analyst (remote) supporting reserving and capital modeling for E&S specialty lines. You will prepare quarterly reserve analyses, maintain capital models and support ORSA and reinsurance strategy, using Python/R and SQL. This role reports to the VP, Actuarial and is based in the US (Chicago-listed location).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead quarterly and annual reserving analyses for multiple specialty P&C lines
  • Support development and maintenance of capital models and ORSA inputs
  • Use Python/R, SQL and Git for model development and version control
  • Remote role with collaboration across underwriting, claims, finance and risk
  • Senior-level analyst; expects 2–4 years actuarial experience and exam progress

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 2–4 years in an actuarial role, preferably in P&C reserving or capital

  • Hands-on Python or R experience and SQL/database skills
  • Expert Excel skills and familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub)
