JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead and support quarterly reserving analyses and reporting
  • Develop new reserving techniques and loss analytics visualizations
  • Support GAAP and SAP financial reporting and 10-Q/K disclosures
  • Collaborate with pricing, underwriting, claims and finance
  • Senior actuarial analyst level based in New York; incentive eligible

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Corporate reserving function experience
  • Sound knowledge of actuarial reserving techniques and standards
  • Experience with GAAP and SAP financial reporting

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior corporate or business unit reserving experience required
  • Sound knowledge of actuarial reserving techniques and standards
  • Experience with financial reporting (GAAP and SAP) involvement
  • Ability to work with claims and underwriting to identify loss trends
  • Programming skills (SQL, R or Python) preferred
