JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own monthly GAAP, statutory, and tax reserve trend reporting
- Update valuation models and organise results for management
- Support pricing, product development, and NGE/rate-setting processes
- Build reporting tables in SQL Server and run experience studies in R
- Onsite role based in Rosemont, IL; individual contributor senior role
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- GAAP, statutory, and tax reserving
- Valuation model development and maintenance
- Pricing and product development for life and annuity
- Experience studies using R
- Statutory annual and quarterly statement support
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math, finance, or related field
- At least 1 year of insurance actuarial experience
- Proficiency with Excel, Access, SQL, R, and VBA
- Experience developing valuation and experience study processes
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
