Senior actuarial associate role supporting Long Term Care (LTC) within Prudential's LTC Finance & Actuarial Community (Flex) in Newark, NJ. You will support LTC pricing filings, assumption development, GAAP/statutory reserving and build/maintain actuarial models and tools. Hybrid work arrangement with recurring on-site expectations.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support LTC pricing filings and responses to state regulators
- Develop assumptions, run experience analyses and maintain PolySystems tables
- Prepare GAAP, statutory and tax reserves and quarterly financial reports
- Build and improve end-user models, tools, and reports for LTC stakeholders
- Hybrid role based in Newark, NJ on a recurring on-site schedule
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- LTC rate filings and regulatory responses
- GAAP, statutory and tax reserving
- Assumption development and experience analysis
- PolySystems implementation and assumption tables
- Building actuarial models and management reports
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related field required
- 2–5 years of actuarial experience
- Minimum of 3 actuarial exams passed
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint) required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
