Senior actuarial associate role supporting Long Term Care (LTC) within Prudential's LTC Finance & Actuarial Community (Flex) in Newark, NJ. You will support LTC pricing filings, assumption development, GAAP/statutory reserving and build/maintain actuarial models and tools. Hybrid work arrangement with recurring on-site expectations.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Support LTC pricing filings and responses to state regulators
  • Develop assumptions, run experience analyses and maintain PolySystems tables
  • Prepare GAAP, statutory and tax reserves and quarterly financial reports
  • Build and improve end-user models, tools, and reports for LTC stakeholders
  • Hybrid role based in Newark, NJ on a recurring on-site schedule

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • LTC rate filings and regulatory responses
  • GAAP, statutory and tax reserving
  • Assumption development and experience analysis
  • PolySystems implementation and assumption tables
  • Building actuarial models and management reports

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related field required
  • 2–5 years of actuarial experience
  • Minimum of 3 actuarial exams passed
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint) required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
