Senior Health actuarial consultant supporting Zurich's Life, Accident & Health (LA&H) pricing and reserving work. You will lead rate filing development, perform actuarial analysis, and partner with underwriting and analytics teams. Senior individual contributor role based in Schaumburg, IL (hybrid) with responsibilities for coaching and influencing business decisions.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead rate filing development for new products and product enhancements
- Perform actuarial pricing and loss & expense reserving analysis for LA&H
- Partner with underwriting, reserves, and data analytics teams
- Coach and may oversee less experienced actuaries
- Hybrid role with primary locations including Schaumburg, IL
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Accident & Health pricing
- A&H rate filing development
- Loss and expense reserving for A&H
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FCAS with 5+ years actuarial experience or ACAS with 10+ years, or Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice
- Experience in Accident & Health product development, pricing, filings
- Proven ability to communicate technical results to non-technical partners
- Demonstrated experience with loss and expense reserving
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
