Senior individual-contributor role (6+ years) expected to hold ACAS and work with Python/R and Databricks. Hybrid role based in Columbus, OH (Des Moines, IA also possible) with fully remote considered.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Build indication tools and code-based actuarial solutions for commercial lines
- Conduct complex actuarial analyses, document assumptions and present findings
- Work with Python or R and Databricks for data manipulation and querying
- Hybrid role: at least 2 days/week in office (Columbus, OH or Des Moines, IA); remote considered
- Senior consultant level — generally 6+ years actuarial experience and ACAS

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Generally 6+ years of actuarial experience
- ACAS designation generally attained (working toward or recently attained FCAS)
- Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or similar
- Experience developing code-based solutions and manipulating external data
- Ability to prepare and present actuarial findings to senior leadership
