JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Develop loss picks and technical premium for individual large accounts
- Support loss-rated and loss-sensitive casualty lines: workers comp, GL, commercial auto
- Monitor and improve usage of loss-rating and pricing tools
- Hybrid role — two days per week at CNA actuarial hub offices (Chicago etc.)
- Actuarial Education Program with study support and exam raises
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Commercial casualty pricing (workers compensation, general liability, commercial auto)
- Portfolio-level profitability analysis and pricing governance
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Typically a minimum of seven years of related work experience
- ACAS designation (may be working towards or have attained FCAS)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
- Experience with commercial casualty lines (workers comp, GL, commercial auto)
