JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Develop and recommend complex actuarial pricing and rating plans
- Monitor profitability, reserving and claim trends to inform pricing
- Partner with underwriting, claims and senior leaders to influence strategy
- Provide guidance to junior staff and manage pricing projects as needed
- Senior role (typically 7+ years) requiring ACAS and advancement toward FCAS
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial pricing and rating plan development
- Monitoring profitability and reserving trends
- Partnering with underwriting and claims
- Delivering actuarial analyses to senior leadership
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Typically a minimum of seven years of related work experience
- ACAS designation required; working toward or holding FCAS
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in actuarial pricing and working with underwriting
