JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead reserving and rate indication analysis for Auto and Homeowners
- Develop new traditional and non-traditional reserving methodologies
- Manage and mentor actuarial team members
- Work with Finance and Claims to book bulk reserves and measure profitability
- Woodbridge, NJ-based senior role requiring ResQ proficiency
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Loss reserving for personal lines
- Rate indications and pricing for auto and homeowners
- Claims metric analysis and reporting
- Loss trend analysis using internal and external data
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related
- 7+ years of actuarial experience in a similar professional environment
- FCAS or near-FCAS (Fellow or near-Fellow, Casualty Actuarial Society)
- Proficiency with ResQ or similar reserving software
- Expert MS Office skills (Excel/PowerPoint)
