JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead reserving and rate indication analysis for Auto and Homeowners
  • Develop new non-traditional reserving and pricing approaches
  • Manage and mentor actuarial team members
  • Use ResQ and query internal/external data (SQL preferred)
  • Partner with Finance and Claims on reserves and profitability

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Loss reserving analysis
  • Rate indication analysis
  • Loss trend and frequency/severity analysis
  • Claims metrics and profitability analysis
  • Reserving software (ResQ) expertise

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of actuarial experience
  • Fellow or near-Fellow, Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS or near-FCAS)
  • Proficiency with reserving software (ResQ or similar) required
  • Expert MS Office skills required; SQL preferred
  • Experience leading reserving, rate indications, and claims analysis
