Role requires deep experience with claims data, medical coding, and analytics tools (SQL/R/Python/SAS).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead and manage a team of actuaries and analysts in the Health Research Team
- Provide actuarial review and technical guidance on healthcare product methodology
- Support data quality analytics and assess actuarial impact of data issues
- Conduct research and quantitative analyses on healthcare cost trends
- Flexible US-based role; Chicago office with required quarterly in-office visit
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Healthcare cost analysis
- Claims data and actuarial modeling
- Experience in health insurance or managed care
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and DRG coding systems
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
- 7+ years of actuarial experience, preferably in health or managed care
- 3+ years of direct people management experience
- Proficiency with SQL, R, Python, SAS (analytics tools)
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
