Closer to a modelling-heavy IC than a pure underwriting partner because advanced analytics and model validation are the technical core, despite direct business influence.

Senior P&C actuarial and predictive analytics role in Dublin, Ohio, supporting E&S and specialty programs. You will lead predictive modeling, profitability, reserving, and loss cost work that informs pricing, underwriting, and business strategy, while presenting findings to senior and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Strongly preferred

Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related field
CSPA designation
2 or more actuarial exams
5+ years of actuarial experience including predictive analytics
Commercial liability experience
Commercial property experience
Garage lines experience
Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, SAS
Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau
High competency in MS Excel
Experience with AI tools like Claude
Ability to work and learn independently
Entrepreneurial mindset
Strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills
