Closer to a modelling-heavy IC than a pricing-underwriting partner because predictive analytics and model validation are the technical anchor, despite broad business interaction.

Senior P&C actuarial role in Dublin, Ohio, supporting an E&S and Specialty Programs Planning Unit. You’ll lead predictive analytics, pricing and profitability reviews, loss cost work, and first-pass reserving analysis while advising the Chief Actuary and business leaders.

Requirements

Strongly preferred

Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or related quantitative field
CSPA designation preferred
2 or more actuarial exams preferred
5 or more years of property/casualty actuarial experience
Demonstrated background in predictive analytics
Experience with a carrier writing commercial liability, commercial property, and/or garage lines
Proficiency with SQL, R, Python, or SAS
Proficiency with data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau
High competency in MS Excel
Experience with AI tools like Claude, Claude CoWork, Claude Code
Ability to work and learn independently and solve complex insurance and actuarial challenges
