JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing, reserving, and program oversight for P&C program business
- Perform quarterly reserving analyses and support financial/statutory reporting
- Collaborate with underwriting, reinsurance, accounting, and finance teams
- Work with Python, R, SQL or SAS for modeling, analysis, and automation
- Hybrid role based in Austin, TX; remote candidates may be considered
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Property & Casualty actuarial experience
- Pricing and reserving for program insurance
- Reinsurance renewal analyses and program oversight
- Rate filings and regulatory submissions
- Portfolio monitoring and profitability analysis
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of actuarial experience in property & casualty insurance
- Progression toward ACAS with ≥4 exams passed, or ACAS/FCAS
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or related
- Working knowledge of Python, R, SQL, SAS or similar analytical tools
