Senior P&C actuarial role supporting Zurich Cover-More's North American travel insurance portfolio in Houston/Remote US. You will lead GLM-based pricing, multi-state regulatory filings, experience studies, and modernize actuarial tools while owning projects end-to-end.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing analysis and GLM modeling for retail and wholesale travel products
- Develop actuarial memos, exhibits and 50-state regulatory filings
- Own end-to-end actuarial projects from scoping to documentation
- Perform rate indications, experience studies, and profitability monitoring
- Hybrid role (company tags #LI-Hybrid); remote work capability across US states
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- travel insurance pricing and filings
- GLM-based pricing and modeling
- 50-state regulatory filings including CA and NY
- experience studies and rate indications
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ASA or ACAS designation required
- Approximately 7+ years' actuarial experience in A&H, P&C, or related lines
- Strong GLM expertise and model interpretation skills
- Hands-on Python, R, Emblem, Excel/VBA, and SQL experience
- Proven experience managing large multi-state pricing and filing projects
