Senior actuarial leadership role focused on asset-liability (ALM) modeling within a life/annuity and retirement context. You will lead a team, guide ALM and actuarial modeling methodology, and present findings to senior management. Located in Philadelphia with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office per week). Requires an FSA (or ASA with extensive experience) and significant actuarial leadership experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead ALM and actuarial modeling, interpretation, and policy development
- Manage a team and develop actuarial talent
- Present actuarial and ALM results to senior management and regulators
- Hybrid role — 3 days in office per week (Philadelphia hub)
- FSA required (ASA acceptable with extended experience) and 8+ years' experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Asset-liability modelling and cash-flow testing
- Actuarial modelling methodology and model governance
- Reserving and pricing principles and interpretation for senior leadership
- Preparing actuarial information for regulators and industry committees
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FSA designation required (ASA acceptable with 14 years' experience)
- 8+ years of relevant actuarial experience (6 if Master's with experience rules)
- Demonstrated people management experience — manages a team
- Experience in ALM/asset-liability and actuarial modeling methodology
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
