You will build cost and revenue forecasting models, estimate IBNR and utilization trends, and evaluate business development opportunities and patient attribution. Senior individual contributor role requiring ASA progress and 2–4 years of healthcare actuarial experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Analyze value-based/shared-savings arrangements and measure performance
- Build cost and revenue forecasting and IBNR models for Medicaid populations
- Collaborate with Business Development and clinical teams on patient attribution
- Use SQL and/or SAS to analyze CMS T-MSIS and healthcare claims data
- Senior role for ASA candidate with 2–4 years of healthcare actuarial experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- healthcare or managed care actuarial experience
- experience working with healthcare claims data
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Associate or working towards Associate of the Society of Actuaries with 3+ exams
- Bachelor's degree
- 2–4 years actuarial experience in healthcare, managed care, or consulting
