JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Analyze national and state medical cost trends for Aetna
- Build reports, exhibits and executive presentations for internal and external meetings
- Use SQL, GCP, R, VBA, SmartView, ThoughtSpot, and Microsoft Office
- Partner with finance, actuarial, product, network, pharmacy and regulators
- Senior role requiring ASA or FSA with 5+ years' relevant experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Managed care: provider contracting, benefit design, medical management
- Experience with Commercial, Medicare, or Medicaid products
- Explaining medical cost trends to senior leaders and regulators
- Working with daily claims data and cloud analytics platforms
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of relevant healthcare actuarial or analytics experience
- ASA or FSA designation required
- Healthcare experience: Commercial, Medicare, or Medicaid preferred
- Hands-on experience with SQL, R and VBA for reporting/analysis
