Senior Health actuary and data science engineering role based in the United States, focused on value-based care contracts. You’ll build production-scale models for reserving, forecasting, risk adjustment, and pricing, then integrate them into AI-enabled software using Python, R, SQL, and modern data infrastructure.
Requirements
Must have
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship
Willingness to travel quarterly for team offsites
Strongly preferred
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation
6+ years of healthcare actuarial experience with claims and eligibility data
Strong hands-on coding skills in Python, R, and SQL
Experience with Git/GitHub for version control
Deep interest or experience in generative AI, LLMs, PySpark, or cloud data infrastructure
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to communicate actuarial concepts to non-actuarial teams
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with PySpark, Databricks, or distributed computing frameworks
Familiarity with modern AI architectures (RAG, OKF, model evaluation suites)
Experience translating traditional actuarial logic into modern engineering languages
