Role type

Expert modelling individual contributor

Closer to a modelling-heavy individual contributor than a pricing-underwriting partner because technical authority and model sophistication outweigh direct deal involvement.

Senior Health actuary role with Great American Employer Health Solutions in Ohio, offered fully remote. You’ll design advanced models, price Level Funded and medical stop loss products, develop product concepts, and advise underwriting, finance, product, and claims teams. The role generally requires 10 years of actuarial experience and an FSA.

Requirements

Must have

  • Minimum of 10 years of actuarial experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation
  • Expert proficiency in various actuarial techniques
  • Expert analytical skills with ability to use data to inform decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
