Senior life actuarial role focused on annuity product development and pricing in Pacific Life's Consumer Markets Division. You will design and repricing annuity products (RIA, VA, FIA, ILVA, fixed annuities), run pricing models, and collaborate with product, finance, investments and distribution teams. On-site 4 days/week in Newport Beach, CA (Omaha, NE is an alternate location). FSA designation required.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Develop and price annuity products (RIA, VA, FIA, ILVA, fixed annuities)
Run and analyze pricing models and semi-annual product suite repricing
Collaborate with product strategy, finance, investments, and distribution
Provide technical guidance to junior actuarial staff
On-site 4 days/week in Newport Beach, CA (relocation required if not local)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Annuity product development and pricing
Pricing for RIA, VA, FIA, ILVA, and fixed annuities
Asset and liability projections / cash flow testing

KEY REQUIREMENTS

FSA designation required
Experience with actuarial modeling software (Prophet, MoSes, Turbo, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or similar
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
On-site 4 days/week; relocation required if not near office
