HIGHLIGHTS

Senior life-focused reinsurance actuary on Pacific Life’s Enterprise Reinsurance team. You’ll lead structuring and execution of reinsurance arrangements, own end-to-end reinsurance cash flow modeling and quarterly reporting, and partner with underwriting, product, and senior management. Hybrid role based in Newport Beach, CA (also open in Omaha, NE or Charlotte, NC).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead analysis and execution of enterprise reinsurance arrangements from RFP to implementation
Own end-to-end reinsurance cash flow projections and quarterly reporting
Partner with Underwriting, Product Design, and senior management on reinsurance strategy
Hybrid role — four office days per week (Newport Beach, CA; Omaha, NE; Charlotte, NC)
Requires FSA and 6+ years of actuarial experience

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Enterprise reinsurance transactions and structuring
Inforce reinsurance analysis and strategic management
Reinsurance cash flow modeling and settlements
Quarterly reporting of reinsurance transactions

KEY REQUIREMENTS

FSA designation required
